Fees & Terms
SMG Mediation welcomes contact regarding our fees and terms by either email or telephone and will be pleased to discuss cases and our availability. The fee level is dependent on the amount in dispute, the complexity of the case and the number of parties. SMG Mediation’s fees and terms are fixed, per participant and paid in advance of the mediation. SMG Mediation fees will start from £1,790.
Cost of Typical Mediation
· Mediation Initial Meeting (MIM) £125.00, incl VAT per participant
· Mediation Cost £1,790 per participant.
The fee assumes a 8 hour day, after which if all parties deem it necessary and are all agreed, the additional hourly rate is charged at £240 per hour per participant. Please be informed that SMG Mediation has great confidence in reaching a settlement within the normal working hours and her fees and terms reflect this.
£0 Million – £1 Million (Full Day UK)
SMG Mediation mediators will work anywhere in the UK for the same fee of £1,790, incl VAT, per party for a one-day mediation (8 hours) where the value of the dispute is up to and including £1 million (10am to 6pm). Additional hours are charged at the rate of £240 per hour per party incl VAT.
£1 Million – £5 Million (Full Day UK)
SMG Mediation mediators will work anywhere in the UK for the same fee of £2,400, incl VAT, per party for a one-day mediation (8 hours) where the value of the dispute is up to and including £1 million (10am to 6pm). Additional hours are charged at the rate of £290 per hour per party incl VAT.
£0 Million – £1 Million (Full Day UK)
SMG Mediation mediators will work anywhere in the UK for the same fee of £1,790, incl VAT, per party for a one-day mediation (8 hours) where the value of the dispute is up to and including £1 million (10am to 6pm). Additional hours are charged at the rate of £240 per hour per party incl VAT.
£1 Million – £5 Million (Half Day UK)
SMG Mediation mediators will work anywhere in the UK for the same fee of £1,530, incl VAT, per party for a half day mediation (4 hours) where the value of the dispute is up to and including £1 million (10am to 2pm). Additional hours are charged at the rate of £270 per hour per party incl VAT.
£0 Million – £1 Million (Half Day Online UK & International)
SMG Mediation mediators will work online anywhere in the UK & Internationally and for the same fee of £1,025, incl VAT, per party for a half day mediation (4 hours) where the value of the dispute is up to and including £1 million (10am to 2pm). Additional hours are charged at the rate of £190 per hour per party incl VAT.
£1 Million – £5 Million (Half Day Online UK & International)
The mediation fee includes all travel expenses, administration, time and venue at SMG Mediation Ltd office unless the mediation is held online administration and time are inclusive within the fee. No further charges will be made for time and travel expenses.
